TRAIL COMPETITION A popular feature of this unique sale is the $2,000 added, all natural trail horse competition starting at 7:00 p.m., on Friday, April 15th. This competition is open only to horses consigned to the sale and is designed to allow prospective buyers the opportunity to see the horses perform activities consistent with the trail horse environment. This is a judged event with the course consisting of eight obstacles including natural trail hazards, loading in a trailer, and ground manners. The first 100 horses to enter will compete with the top 10 horses selected to go to the finals on Saturday morning, following the eliminations. The winner of the competition will receive $1,000 and a pair of custom made chinks. Before the competition starts there will be a grand entry of horses and a gaited horse show off.Click here to download Consignment Form |
