Meet and Greet Social – 3:00pm

Consignors will be demonstrating their horses
in the sessions that are their specialties.

Buyers will be able to watch the horses demonstrate, then visit with the consignor and their horse, one on one.

There will be 3 sessions of demonstrations:

* Trail Horses on obstacles
* Ranch Horse demonstrations
* Whips, Guns, and Tricks

JTO Horsemanship Clinic – 11:00am

Jackie Turnbull, Trent Rhea and Odell Grose will give you helpful information on transitioning your new horse to his new home. A horse needs to acclimate to his different environment and surroundings as well as his new rider. Learn how to make this happen smoothly and with as little stress as possible.

How to Purchase the Right Horse For You & Your Family

Jackie Turnbull has made a life long career from training and showing horses along with teaching youth, amateur and adult riders. She is familiar with all the ins and outs of horse and rider compatibility. Jackie also produces the Great American Ranch and Trail Horse Sale and she will give you tips on buying a horse at auction, along with information and knowledge that can help you make the right horse purchase.

Compete for Trophy Saddle, awards and prize money

This competition is open only to horses consigned to the sale and is designed to allow prospective buyers the opportunity to see the horses perform activities consistent with the ranch horse environment.

This is a judged event with the course consisting of a ranch riding pattern, boxing a cow, and demonstrating the ability to rope a cow. An additional consignment fee is required. More…

Compete for $1,000, awards and prize money

This competition is open only to horses consigned to the sale. It is a judged event with eight obstacles. The top ten scoring horses will come back to the finals on Saturday morning.
